Maloya Laser is looking for an Electrical Assembler to perform bench electrical and electromechanical assembly at our Commack facility. You’ll build wire harnesses and cables, terminate wires, solder connectors, complete point-to-point wiring, and perform basic electrical testing.

You’ll work across a range of components and assemblies, with the opportunity to develop your skills in electrical testing, inspection, and more advanced assembly work.

Maloya has been manufacturing custom metal products in New York for more than 50 years, combining experienced craftsmanship with continued investment in modern manufacturing technology. You’ll work at our 22,000-square-foot, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Commack's Hauppauge Industrial Park.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete electrical and electromechanical assemblies, including rails, brackets, panels, subassemblies, harnesses, and cables
  • Build wire harnesses and complete point-to-point and hard wiring according to work order instructions
  • Terminate wires and solder connectors
  • Stage components and parts required for assembly
  • Perform basic electrical testing
  • Accurately track component and finished-product quantities for inventory
  • Assist with tool and equipment maintenance and keep your work area clean and organized
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of electrical manufacturing experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, wiring, harness building, or similar work
  • Knowledge of hand tools used in electrical assembly production
  • Basic soldering and wire-termination skills
  • Ability to follow work instructions and complete detailed assembly work accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
