** Exciting Opportunity at MSK:
** Join our Commack Medical Oncology team as a Per Diem Outpatient Clinical Nurse, where you will support patients receiving advanced cancer care through triage, assessment, education, symptom management, and infusion support in a high-performing ambulatory environment. As part of a collaborative, mission-driven team, you will help deliver exceptional, compassionate, and research-informed care to patients throughout their treatment journey.
** Role Overview:
*** Work within a Nurse‑Physician/APP–based Ambulatory Care Practice Model to support high‑quality outpatient oncology care.
* Provide clinical support to nursing and provider staff across assigned ambulatory practices.
* Assist with management of a multi-specialty oncology caseload, including:  + Hematology  + Sarcoma  + Thoracic  + Head and Neck  + Gastrointestinal  + Genitourinary  + Gynecologic  + Breast Medical Oncology
* Perform clinical triage for patients in person and via telephone, following established nursing protocols.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide patient and family education, symptom management, and care coordination.
* Support and collaborate with the Outpatient Infusion team as needed, including assisting with infusion-related patient care activities within scope of practice.
* Function as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment, follow-up, and transitions.
** Key

Qualifications:

*** Active New York State RN license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
* Minimum 1.5 years of medical/surgical nursing experience.
* Minimum 1.5 years of oncology nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting (strongly preferred).
* Experience in outpatient infusion or the ability to float into infusion settings is preferred.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
