LPN Shift Supervisor Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. Lindner Residences

We are seeking a highly motivated LPN Shift Supervisor to join our team at Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. Lindner Residences, a luxurious and elegant Long Island assisted living community.

About the Role:

Tuesday to Saturday - 3:00p.m.

- 11:15p.m.

As an LPN Shift Supervisor at Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. Lindner Residences, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and service to our residents. You will be the leader of a shift team, responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Resident Care Coordinators (HHAs) to provide direct care to residents. Your duties will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of LPNs and HHAs to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care

  • Conducting daily rounds to ensure resident care is being provided in accordance with established protocols

  • Identifying and addressing resident needs, concerns, and complaints

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports of resident care and service

  • Participating in Quality Improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of care and services

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and communication

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the State of New York

  • Minimum of two years of experience in long-term care or assisted living

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
