About the Role:Tuesday to Saturday - 3:00p.m.

As an LPN Shift Supervisor at Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. Lindner Residences, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and service to our residents. You will be the leader of a shift team, responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Resident Care Coordinators (HHAs) to provide direct care to residents. Your duties will include:
Supervising and coordinating the work of LPNs and HHAs to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
Conducting daily rounds to ensure resident care is being provided in accordance with established protocols
Identifying and addressing resident needs, concerns, and complaints
Maintaining accurate records and reports of resident care and service
Participating in Quality Improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of care and services
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and communication

Current LPN licensure in the State of New York
Minimum of two years of experience in long-term care or assisted living
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
