Position Summary

As a Healthcare Provider Account Manager, you will drive territory growth and profitability by managing accounts, partnering with specialty account executives, and ensuring service excellence across several sales territories. This is a field‑based sales position with daily travel throughout Suffolk County.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually. Salary offers are based on skills, experience, and education. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts through ongoing business reviews of service, logistics, and supplies to identify customer needs.
  • Drive sales growth in existing key accounts through targeting new sales opportunities and identifying and closing potential leakage opportunities.
  • Ensure customer retention by maintaining relationships with current accounts and managing a $10M book of business.
  • Prepare and present Customer Business Reviews.
  • Identify and pursue up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities with Specialty Account Executives and the Sales Director.
  • Partner with specialty account executives on complex clinical discussions.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Solutions Group to facilitate, prioritize, and resolve customer service issues.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues appropriately.
  • Leverage tools and resources (data, Salesforce CRM, target lists, marketing and laboratory resources, and regional resources) as needed.
  • Provide continuing education to customers on new technologies and laboratory testing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Follow up communications with the Sales Director, Specialty Account Executives, and internal/external customers.
Administrative Duties
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.

  • Perform all required trainings within assigned timelines, demonstrating proficiency.

Qualifications
  • Required

    Work Experience:

    Three years of sales experience with account ownership.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the healthcare industry and business economics.
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Education and Licenses
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences (Required).
  • Valid driver’s license (Required).
