Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Recreation Youth/Teen Leader and unleash your creativity while making a positive impact in the lives of children and families! Under the guidance of our enthusiastic Recreation Coordinator and Youth/Teen Director, you'll have the opportunity to design and implement exciting activities for kids aged 6‑17, as well as engaging family programs.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.

• Leader I: $17.06 - $19.44 per hour
• Leader II: $17.76 - $20.11 per hour

• Design and implement exciting activities for kids aged 6‑17.
• Engage families in recreation programs.
• Work well with children and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Recreation Coordinator and Youth/Teen Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age for youth programs, 21 years of age for teen programs.

• Current CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certificates (or obtain within 10 days of hire).
• Current Standard Precautions certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License and current Motor Vehicle Record within 10 days of hire.
• Background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting required.
• Bilingual in Spanish desired.

• Three (3) months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of children ages 6‑17 who are not related to the individual.

• At least 21 years of age, two (2) years of college, and six (6) months (910 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of children ages 6‑17 who are not related to the individual.
