We are seeking dedicated early childhood educators to join the Pre-K team at Community Leadership Academy. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing young learners, preparing them for kindergarten, and instilling a love for learning.

About Our Pre-K Program and UPK Participation:

Through our Universal Preschool Program (UPK), we offer free, high-quality early education to over 30 students. Our curriculum follows the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence, ensuring a creative, explorative, and developmentally appropriate environment. This program emphasizes phonological awareness, social integration, and academic readiness to prepare every child for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Key

Qualifications:

• ECE Teacher qualification required by CDE or PDIS credentials; OR CDA credential, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development, or CCP credential.
• CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Experience with TS GOLD IRR and Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
