Dance Instructor II

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range for this position is $17.06 - $25.86 per hour. This position requires you to be comfortable working out of both recreation centers, Eagle Pointe and Bison Ridge. We are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Dance Instructor II to join our team at the Recreation Center. As the dance instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach youth of various skill levels and all ages in various forms of dance while working in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for choreographing dance routines and practices at the performing level. You will also assist with setup, preparation, and planning of dance classes, as well as develop and implement dance curriculum. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and fun learning environment for all participants, while following all City and Department guidelines and policies.

Dance Instructor II

• Three years of experience as a dancer.
• To have or obtain CPR, First Aid, Concussion Awareness and Universal Precautions Certifications.
• Ability to be trained to teach beginning class levels.
• Ability to learn to teach intermediate level dance classes and choreography.
