Elementary School Teacher – Community Leadership Academy, Commerce City, CO

Salary: $56,000 – $62,600 (based on experience and qualifications)

• Inspire young minds by creating and delivering engaging, standards‑aligned lessons across content areas using high‑quality curriculum resources such as Into Reading, Eureka Math, and Core Knowledge.
• Foster a positive environment where every student feels safe, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
• Guide student learning using real‑time data and formative assessments to tailor instruction and provide targeted support.
• Collaborate with specialists to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all learners.
• Reinforce school culture by promoting consistent routines, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement.
• Engage families through regular communication about student progress, behavior, and successes.
• Grow professionally by being open to feedback and continuously improving through coaching and collaboration with peers.

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Colorado teaching license or endorsement, or 36 credit hours in elementary content, and passing score on approved Praxis exams.
• For grades K–3 positions, 45 hours of Colorado READ Act training or passed PRAXIS 5205.
• Prior experience working with elementary‑aged students strongly preferred.

• Competitive salary between $56,000 and $62,600 based on experience and qualifications.
