School Psychologist in Commerce City, CO

Step into a rewarding opportunity to provide crucial psychological services within a welcoming early elementary school setting. This part-time position is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist enthusiastic about making an impact in the lives of young learners. From August 24th through June 4th, you will be supporting approximately 30 Kindergarten and 1st-grade students onsite, offering guidance and expertise just 510 hours per week.

• Active certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-1st grade students preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators
• Proficiency in administering assessments, developing IEPs, and providing consultative support

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for referred students
• Collaborate closely with educators and parents to create and implement effective intervention strategies for individuals and groups
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized educational plans
• Provide immediate support for crisis situations and promote positive mental health in school settings
• Maintain thorough, confidential records and deliver clear documentation as required
