We’re seeking a Senior Audio Visual (A/V) & Digital Security Technician to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise audio/visual and digital security systems. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure reliable, high-quality A/V and surveillance access across City facilities, serve as the go-to expert for complex issues, and provide technical leadership to our service desk team.
This position works closely with other IT staff, facilities, vendors, and key stakeholders. You’ll maintain standards, enhance system performance, and support business-critical and executive-level needs. The hiring range is $33.64 - $37.38 / Hourly

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Formal training and/or experience in implementing and managing audio/video systems and/or surveillance systems. 5 years of Service Desk experience, which includes more than 1 year experience of progressively responsible AV Technician experience supporting and administering virtual meetings (such as Microsoft Team, Zoom, etc.) and troubleshooting AV equipment in a communications environment.
Experience with security cameras and surveillance systems. The experience must also include troubleshooting and maintaining network hardware and software in a networked environment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. CJIS background clearance prior to employment and ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
