What Success Looks Like In This Job

• Provides real-time, tactical, and strategic analytical support to enhance situational awareness, officer safety, investigative efficiency, and crime-reduction efforts for the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
• Serves as a key operational resource within the Real-Time Crime Center, delivering timely intelligence during in-progress incidents, major investigations, and critical operations.
• Identifies and analyzes developing crime trends throughout Adams County to support informed decision-making and proactive policing.

Examples of Duties for Success

• Primarily office-based within the Real-Time Crime Center, with additional support provided to detectives and operational units.
• Build actionable intelligence products including case summaries, link charts, series identifications, suspect profiles, and digital-footprint analyses.
• Support detectives by retrieving, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple law-enforcement systems, social media, and open sources.
• Ability to communicate with ADCOM and Law Enforcement, using police radios
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to brief command staff clearly.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications for Success

• Minimum of three years' experience in a Real-Time Crime Center, fusion center, or similar operational intelligence setting.
• Prior experience in intelligence, crime analysis, or law-enforcement support role preferred.
• Training or certification through IACA, LEIU, NIJ, DHS, or comparable intelligence programs preferred.
• Understanding of criminal behavior
• Strong analytical and research abilities with the capacity to process large volumes of data quickly.
• Proficiency in real-time data monitoring and rapid intelligence production under time-sensitive conditions.
