Material Distribution Specialist – 1st Shift

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Material Distribution Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring timely movement and control of materials throughout the plant.
Responsibilities- Perform work related to movement and control of materials and finished goods, including replenishing materials used on the flow line.
- Handle basic issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures and promote The Terex Way Values.
- Deliver materials to workstations throughout the plant to meet production demands.
- Operate forklift, tugger, and other PITs as required.
- Support the implementation of kanbans, stocking material, and following escalation procedure for expediting material.
- Perform material counts as needed to verify on-hand quantities.
- Interact with Oracle and maintain clean work area, participating in 5S standards.
- Troubleshoot basic issues and problems and flex into other areas and departments as needed.
- Work under general supervision; follow procedural changes and new regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 0-2 years of experience in material handling.
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
- Certified to drive, or ability to obtain certification, for forklift, tugger, or other PITs.
- Basic working knowledge of material handling processes.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and tape measurements.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Oracle.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and 40‑100 lbs with assistance or equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
- Recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions.
- Maintain acceptable attendance and be responsible for punctuality.
- Competitive salary ($25.00‑$30.00 per hour) based on education, experience, certifications, etc.

Compensation range: $25.00‑$30.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This description is non‑exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.
