AMP Robotics is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a production team and operate machinery including Balers, Forklifts, Wheel Loaders, and other equipment. The role requires supervising operations, ensuring safety, and driving production targets.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the production floor, assign personnel, and accomplish production goals.
  • Maintain efficiency throughout the production process and record any issues.
  • Resolve technical problems during a shift, investigate causes, and identify solutions.
  • Train personnel on specific duties on the floor.
  • Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager and resolve personnel issues.
  • Perform pre‑operative and post‑operative inspections of equipment and report required repairs.
  • Operate all equipment safely and productively while monitoring pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
  • Continuously monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime.
  • Observe processed material for signs of hazardous waste, fire, or smoldering.
  • Perform minor service and inspection on equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory safety standards and rules.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required:
  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
  • Two or more years of experience leading a team operating similar machinery.
  • Preferred:
  • Five or more years as a certified equipment operator.

Equipment Used
  • Personal protective equipment: dust mask, ear plugs, gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, safety vest.
  • Machines: forklift, baler, wheel loader.
  • Tools: broom, shovel, tire gauge, water hoses, screwdriver, wrenches, and other hand tools.
Environmental Conditions
  • Potential exposure to extreme weather.
  • Work environment includes machines, tools, trucks, dust, fumes, and odors.
  • Exposure to residential and commercial waste.

Compensation

$38.00 - $41.00 per hour

Equity Grant

The selected candidate will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and qualifications.

Travel Requirements
  • Occasional, as needed. No more than 5%.
