AMP is looking for a Materials Operations Clerk for our Commerce City location.
Responsibilities- Materials Planning
- Interfaces with the Customer on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments
- Monitor material demand
- Maintain and distribute daily/weekly run schedule
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements and company financial goals
- Inventory Management
- Communicate with plant colleagues on inventories and anticipated production needs
- Ensure and capture inventory accuracy of downgraded and rejected material from suppliers, in process and postproduction
- Responsible for total inventory accuracy of 98%+ in value
- Ensure material storage is in compliance with standards
- Logistics
- Oversee procedures for shipping, receiving and storing raw materials
- Organize and manage deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries. Initiate traces with carriers for proof of deliveries when needed
- Resolve invoicing issues in cooperation with suppliers and accounts payable
- Participate in the annual physical inventory
- Ensure that the company's standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions
- General
- Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
- Adheres to all company and regulatory safety standards and rules.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- APICS certification (e.g. CPIM) preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
