Eagle Rock Sales Support Specialist Position Summary
In the position of Sales Support Specialist, you will be a supporting role to the Sales Team. The role executes merchandising strategies within assigned retail chains and independently owned retailers. The goal is to generate sales by thoroughly servicing customers through proper restocking and rotation of products in coolers, shelves, displays, and back stock receiving areas. The Sales Support Specialist aids the Sales Team in building displays, handling planner changes, and maintaining Eagle Rock and the retailer's merchandising standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts.
- Utilize equipment safely to transport products (U‑boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Keep back‑room stock orderly and well stocked.
- Maintain and increase shelf facings for all products according to company standards.
- Ensure product quality by thorough date rotation across all points of sale.
- Display products by brand and use point‑of‑sale materials (shelf talkers, posters, carton stuffers, bottle collars) to stimulate sales.
- Build, merchandise, and maintain all promotional displays.
- Merchandise and stock all coolers.
- Visit assigned retail stores and establishments to merchandise products according to company standards and guidelines.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with store managers and staff.
- Follow correct check‑in/check‑out procedures on every account, following the designated route.
- Collect and report data on sales performance, inventory levels, and competitor activity to the supervisor.
- Service accounts during designated times established by management.
- Operate under minimal supervision.
- Follow all company rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
- Available to work weekends.
- Have regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- 5‑day work week, weekends included.
- Two consecutive days off.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting in shifts lasting 8+ hours.
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lb. regularly.
- Ability to lift or move 25 lb. regularly.
- Comfort working in refrigerated areas of grocery and liquor stores.
- Job duties are primarily performed inside and outside customer accounts.
- Occasional work in an office and/or warehouse environment is required.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation to access multi‑store locations within the assigned shift.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
- Competitive, self‑motivated, and customer‑service orientated.
- Quick learner of product codes and rotation policies.
- Effective communicator with co‑workers and supervisors.
- Responsible and dependable on the job.
- Committed to working safely and maintaining a fun and friendly environment.

- High school diploma/GED or comparable work experience preferred but not required.
Compensation: $21.00–$23.50 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on route, geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
