About the Position:
Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative for a heavy-equipment company in Commerce City. This position is responsible for building strong customer relationships, developing new business, and maximizing sales and profitability within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a proactive salesperson who is comfortable prospecting, preparing proposals, managing accounts, and visiting construction sites. Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver Silver Service® to every customer with professionalism and consistency.
• Strategically plan and execute marketing efforts to build and support an assigned customer base.
• Contact and engage customers to maximize sales and profitability.
• Develop, implement, and manage marketing plans for assigned accounts.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations, including follow-up to secure business.
• Build and maintain a robust customer database, updating it monthly.
• Maintain an accurate list of machinery owned by customers on the assigned call list.
• Submit monthly summaries of account activity.
• Provide financial counseling and marketing assistance to customers upon request.
• Ensure customers are invoiced promptly and payments are received on time.
• Prospect for new business through cold calling and add qualified leads to the customer database.
• Manage and control expenses associated with sales transactions.
• Support the Sales Manager with administrative and sales-related tasks.
• Perform data entry and general office duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Education and

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• Strong sales, prospecting, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prepare professional proposals and follow through throughout the sales process.
• Strong organizational, database-management, and recordkeeping abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling to customer and construction sites.

Physical Demands and

Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate phones and computer equipment.
• Ability to walk across uneven terrain, including construction sites.
• Ability to read and manage paper and electronic records.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and by radio.
• Ability to bend, stretch, or kneel to manage files or inspect equipment.
• Ability to climb in and out of large construction equipment as needed.
