As a Security Officer – Fulfillment Gate Control in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

• Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, controlling entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.

• Screen inbound and outbound traffic, including employees, visitors, drivers, and vehicles, while following shipping and receiving protocols and reporting irregularities.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and supporting on-site operations.

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, monitoring gates, docks, yards, and staging areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
