Security Officer - Logistics Center

As a Security Officer – Logistics Center in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as logistics and distribution. You will work as an Access Control Officer, managing entry points, verifying badges and credentials, and supporting security‑related procedures. Visible patrols and outstanding customer service will be part of your daily duties.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site protocols.
• Monitor truck, trailer, package, and personnel movement, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, using appropriate communication and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security concerns.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Applicants will be subject to a drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
