** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, trailer yards, and other restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and trailer storage areas, with working conditions that may vary by site.

+ Support security-related screening and access procedures for deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor activity while following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
