** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor access points and help control entry and exit for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by checking credentials, verifying authorization, and documenting site access activity.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the perimeter, gates, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, while observing and reporting security-related concerns.

+ Support day-to-day access control operations by helping to deter unauthorized entry, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
