Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sun 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
As a Security Officer – Badge Check in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. At a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, verify badges and credentials, and support security‑related operations through a visible presence and routine patrols.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or vehicle logs, and help deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, trailer yards, and other restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related events and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and trailer storage areas, with working conditions that may vary by site.
- Support security‑related screening and access procedures for deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor activity while following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
- A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
