Job Title: (CSSNA) Welder
Duration: 12 Months (temp-to-hire)
Location: Henderson, CO 80640,
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.74/hr on W2

Set-up, operate, or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines.

• Interpret shop drawings/blueprints
• Read a tape measure accurately
• Set up MIG/MP welding machines
• Perform GMAW/FCAW welding (MIG and Flux-Core) on Mild Steel
• Use power tools (drill, impact driver, angle grinder, etc.)
• Apply basic construction skills
• Work safely from ladders and scissor lifts, wearing fall protection
• Wear a respirator when required

• Understand basic welding processes (gas metal arc, plasma arc, resistance welding)
• Apply design techniques, tools, and principles to produce precision plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
• Monitor welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion
• Examine work pieces for defects; measure with straightedges or templates for accuracy
• Set up and operate hand and power tools common to welding trade
• Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
