Drywall Framer Hanger

Responsibilities

• Cut drywall to size, carry and hang drywall, use a screw gun to attach drywall to the wall, and install corner bead and channel.
• Climb scaffolds over 10 feet; climb stairways, ladders and possibly walk on stilts.
• Lift up to 140 pounds, lift 100 to 120 pounds on a semi-regular basis (drywall boards), approximately three times per hour.
• Lift 40 to 80 pounds frequently, approximately six to eight times per hour (smaller pieces of drywall boards).
• Lift, push, and pull 15 pounds on a regular and consistent basis; about five to six hours per day (with the screw gun).
• Lift and carry 10 to 15 pounds of metal studs frequently; about three to four hours per day.
• Reach above the shoulder and at shoulder height with the weight of drywall, metal studs, and screw gun on a regular basis.
• Full use of fingers and both hands is required for this manually dexterous position, with mental and muscular coordination simultaneously.
• Stooping and walking for eight hours per day, excluding lunch and a 15‑minute break.
• Erect scaffolds and climb scaffolds as high as three to four sections (possibly higher), four to eight times per day when jobs are above ground.
