We are looking for an Instrument/Analyzer to support our Commerce City Refinery. In this role, you will support process operations, maintenance, and engineering by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process control system equipment.

• An Associate's Degree in the Instrument and Controls field OR Successful completion of a formal program in the field of Process Instrumentation through military service or crafts apprenticeship program with 5 years of recent practical experience in maintenance of industrial instrumentation and controls equipment (calibration of smart transmitters, PLC, DCS, AMS, rebuild control valves, etc).
• Current ISA (Formerly: Instrument Society of America) CCST Certification Level I (or equivalent).

• Maintain online analytical instrumentation through preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance required to ensure equipment functionality and reliability.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of all analytical equipment calibrations in accordance with site quality procedures and documentation best practices.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues that impair proper functionality of analytical systems.
• Provide the required support needed to resolve non‑scheduled priority jobs during normal and after‑hours.
• Assist with updating and creating equipment specification sheets, CEMS equipment files, checklists and procedures.
• Respond to work orders, overtime situations, and the needs of the refinery.
• Look for opportunities to improve reliability.

You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd. This position is safety sensitive.

Hours of work are a regular 40‑hour work week, 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday OR 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday, depending on business needs. Paid overtime, often 100‑600+ hours per year based on plant needs.

This is a union represented position under USW 12‑477. Hourly rate: $55.16 per hour with annual increases.
