Taking on an itinerant role, you'll cover two consecutive FMLA leaves, ensuring continuity of care for a diverse caseload within area schools.

Key Qualifications
  • Valid, active Colorado social work licensure is required
  • Prior experience working as a Social Worker within school settings (K-12 preferred)
  • History of managing a caseload across multiple school sites (itinerant experience highly valued)
  • Strong skills in case management, family engagement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt and provide support to students from varied backgrounds and needs
Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive social work services to K-12 students across different campuses
  • Coordinate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to design and implement intervention plans
  • Provide crisis management, behavior support, and connect families to essential resources
  • Conduct evaluations, prepare documentation, and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Foster inclusive, supportive school climates that nurture student growth and resilience
  • Maintain open lines of communication with families and educational staff
