Class A CDL Operator

Ambipar Response is seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment, roll‑off boxes, vacuum tankers, and waste materials.

• Safely operate a tractor‑trailer or straight truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Use vacuum trucks to extract, contain, and transport liquid, sludge, and solid waste safely.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll‑off containers while complying with weight restrictions and DOT regulations.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in accordance with federal, state, and company guidelines.
• Utilize electronic logging devices (eLogs) for hours‑of‑service tracking.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any issues to dispatch.
• Securely load and unload cargo at pickup and delivery locations, using liftgates or pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules using GPS navigation.
• Assist crew members and foster teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of road rules, vehicle maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Pass DOT and Hazmat physical examination.
• Previous truck‑driving or related experience.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication to safety.
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
• Physical stamina to perform labor‑intensive tasks.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and autonomy.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Detail oriented, prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel within an assigned region.

• Experience driving a manual vehicle.
• Experience operating roll‑off boxes.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• Bilingual proficiency.

The standard working hours are 7AM – 4PM. The candidate should be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The position may require extended periods of travel and working in inclement weather.

• Stand and work on feet for 8–12 hour shifts.
• Lift, stoop, bend, squat, reach, crawl, and kneel.
• Lift up to 50pounds and carry up to 10feet.
• Handle tasks involving more than 100pounds.
• Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
• Communicate by voice and detect sounds by ear.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Work in confined spaces, heights, or water.
• Wear SCBA, supplied air, and protective suits as required.
• Possibly exposed to hazardous or non‑hazardous materials.
• Possibly generate static electricity during clean‑up work.
• Perform work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
