As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for order fulfillment, shipping finished goods, tracking inventory and receiving raw materials into inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with DOT and IATA shipping regulations, while working in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA statements.
Responsibilities- Possess a strong sense of time organization, prioritization, and urgency
- Detail Oriented
- Knowledge of local, federal, and state regulations
- Must have excellent organization skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of shipping & receiving experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents i.e., shipping labels, packing slips and bills of lading
- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment, including standup and sit-down forklifts
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must have basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of basic computer skills:
Outlook, Word, Excel - Must be able to read, write and speak English

Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of UPS/Fed Ex and LTL shipping software
- Inventory management experience
- Experience shipping hazardous materials
- Familiar with DOT and IATA shipping regulations
- Train the trainer
- Forklift Certification
- Lifting required of up to 70lbs unassisted and over 70lbs with lifting aides
- Continuous reaching/working overhead
- Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carry items
- Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations
