Service Worker - Transportation Lead
The Transportation Lead supports the daily coordination, communication, and operational effectiveness of the Adams 14 Transportation Department. This position serves primarily as a dispatcher and lead support role responsible for coordinating daily bus operations, assigning routes and drivers, monitoring transportation activity, supporting trainers and drivers, assisting with routing and field trips, submitting and monitoring transportation-related work orders, and helping ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for students.
The Transportation Lead serves as a key point of contact for drivers, trainers, schools, and transportation leadership. This position provides guidance and operational support to transportation staff, assists with driver coverage and special events as needed, monitors fleet readiness and work-order status, and supports compliance with district procedures, Colorado pupil transportation regulations, and safety standards. The position may also serve as a utility/flex driver for field trips, events, substitute routes, special routes, or other transportation needs.
