Dental Assistant, Mobile Dental Unit
Salary: $24 to $26 per hour
Requirements to Apply- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of accredited dental assisting program
- Radiation Safety Certificate
- 8-hour Infection Control certification (CA Dental Board compliant) plus current CPR and First Aid
- Coronal Polish certificate required as of January 1, 2025
- Active Class A driver’s license
- Bilingual English and Spanish required
- Ability to travel daily to multiple sites and work two Saturdays per month
- Strong communication skills and outgoing, patient-focused personality
Full-time Dental Assistant supporting a mobile dental program delivering preventive and restorative oral health services to underserved communities throughout Los Angeles County with a flexible weekday schedule plus two Saturdays per month.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Dental Assistant to support a Mobile Dental Unit providing accessible dental care across Los Angeles County. This role includes chairside assisting, oral health education, community outreach, and clinical support to help patients overcome barriers to quality dental services. The Dental Assistant will perform oral screenings, assist with exams and procedures, maintain accurate electronic documentation, and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
