The Lead Prescription Renewal Pharmacy Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day staff functions for pharmacy technicians within the Prescription Renewal Pharmacy department. The Lead Technician supports prescription renewal pharmacy workflows, pharmacy technician onboarding, training, and oversight of the daily tasks required for the pharmacist to support and provide optimal patient care. The Lead Technician supports the Centralized Prescription Renewal site in managing the refill authorization and prior authorization process in accordance with approved guidelines and protocols.
Minimum Requirements- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- California Board of Pharmacy Technician License, in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a CA Board pharmacy technician is required.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
$31.89 - $39.86 hourly
