1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay Range: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
Summary
The Human Resources Specialist provides administrative and operational support across a wide range of HR functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and overall HR operations.
This position is being offered as a 90-day initial project with strong potential to convert to a full-time, permanent employee based on performance and business needs.
Essential Functions Monitor and track attendance point system
Prepare security badges for restricted areas
Generate attendance disciplinary documents and send to supervisors for review
Create and distribute various management reports
Provide customer service by answering employee inquiries
Conduct new hire orientation in collaboration with HR Generalist Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and file documentation appropriately
Assist with correspondence and termination documentation
Manage full-cycle recruitment: requisition creation, job postings, screening, interviews, and offers
Conduct audits of employee records to ensure compliance with federal and state laws Assist with workplace investigations
Prepare new hire files
Support weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing in ADPAssist HR Director and team with special projects
Process wage verifications and unemployment claims
Help prepare and distribute W-2s and payroll-related reports
Facilitate site-wide events (benefits fairs, team events, volunteer activities)
Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Perform other duties as assigned

Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite#nowhiring
Required Education & Experience Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in HR or a manufacturing/industrial environment
Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred
Familiarity with ITAR compliance, security badging, or union environments is a plus Bilingual in Spanish and English required
