Assembly Line Worker

Reports to: Assembly Manager

Job Type: Full-Time (Upon Completion of 180-Day Trial Period)

Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Commerce, CA

Lighting manufacturer in Commerce, CA seeks two motivated and responsible full-time assemblers to be part of the production team.

• Assembly of lighting products requiring installation of electronic and electric components on an assembly line.
• May assist with pulling components from stock accurately and efficiently to execute proper assembly.
• Read written instructions in English and basic line drawings.
• Perform basic math as needed.
• Lighting assembly experience preferred but training is available for the right candidates.
• Lift and handle product up to 51 lbs repeatedly and continuously throughout the day.
• Operate work tools with proper training provided.
• Follow the schedule:
  Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Follow instructions from team leader, QC manager, and Assembly Manager’s administrative assistant.
• Other duties in the day-to-day operations of the assembly department.

• Lifting and handling product up to 51 lbs repeatedly and continuously.
• Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and walking to move product (often on pallets) through the department.
• Possible twisting, turning, stooping, pushing, pulling, squatting, reaching above the shoulder, and other movements to access products.
• Warehouse temperature may vary with weather conditions.
