Material Handler ; Feeder - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 12:15pm - 8:30pm

Responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining material to assigned machine units. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment (227, Alpha Liner, Ferag). Maintain quality, output, and production goals.

• Load and unload materials into the machine.
• Verify correct material for production line, perform basic machine setup (including working the machine interface or controls), adjusting machine components, and troubleshooting as needed. Respond to the indicator lights and display screens and know the actions required to mitigate the issue.
• Support and comply with safety and security policies to promote a healthy work environment, including housekeeping standards.
• Support and comply with internal and external audits, providing information, performing assigned tasks to ensure compliance, and preparing and maintaining evidence that key duties identified as internal controls have been performed. Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

• 0-1 year related experience (preferred)

• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to assess obstacles and make minor non‑mechanical adjustments to ensure safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Ability and knowledge to operate a pallet jack.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language (Preferred)
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player (works well with others).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment (varying upon equipment).

• Assist with work prioritization to meet production commitments and goals.

• Ability to work overtime beyond regular schedule to complete work assignments as required.

• May carry up to 15 lb., may push and pull up to 40 lb., twist, stand, walk, reach, and grip/grasp throughout the shift. Also required to frequently lift up to 15 lbs., squat and kneel. Must work in a fast‑paced environment (varying upon equipment).
• Environment includes moving mechanical parts, airborne dust, paper particles, and industrial lift trucks. May require hearing protection.

The national pay range for this role is $16.90 - $21.20 hourly. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. Actual pay offered may vary based upon education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, total compensation may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
