Digital Production Manager

Position Overview:

Chameleon Beverage is seeking a highly skilled Digital Production Manager to oversee and manage our in-plant digital printing operations for water bottle production. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality output using advanced digital printing technology, including the
HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press
and
ABG Digicon Lite Finishing Press
. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

• Production Management:
  • Oversee daily operations of the HP Indigo 6K+ and ABG Digicon Lite finishing equipment.
  • Ensure optimal press performance, color consistency, and quality standards.
  • Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Workflow & Process Optimization:
  • Implement best practices for digital printing workflows, including file preparation, color management, and finishing processes.
  • Monitor and improve efficiency, reducing waste and maximizing throughput.
• Supervise and train press operators and finishing staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and service for digital presses and finishing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with vendors for support when needed.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for production runs, quality checks, and machine performance.
• Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track production metrics, costs, and efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports to management on performance and improvement opportunities.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Communications, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• Experience:
  • 3+ years in digital printing operations, preferably with HP Indigo technology.
  • Experience with finishing equipment such as ABG Digicon Lite or similar.
  • Proven track record in production management and team leadership.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of digital printing workflows and color management.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in print management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
