Production Assistant - Candles & Fragrance Manufacturing

Our production floor is where raw ingredients are transformed into the candles, incense, and diffusers our customers love. As a Production Assistant, you'll rotate between our Candles Line and Liquids Line
, learning every step of the process, from loading giant wax melters to perfectly labeling a reed diffuser.

Location: P.F. Candle Co. Commerce, CA
Schedule: Full-Time
- Monday
- Friday - 7 AM - 3 PM

Salary
: $24/HR

Candles Line

• Load wax melters (up to 500 lb of wax per shift) and monitor temperatures.

• Wick and prep jars before pouring.

• Clean, label, and quality-check finished candles with meticulous attention to detail and aesthetics.

• Keep finished stock organized so our shipping crew can fly.

Liquids Line

• Operate filling machines for room sprays and diffusers.

• "Dunk & count" incense sticks

• Label, cap, and pack products safely and swiftly.

All Lines

• Stand and move for 7-8 hours a day.

• Lift and carry up to 50 lb repeatedly throughout each shift - this is a physical requirement of the role, performed multiple times daily

• Follow safety, quality, and sanitation procedures at every step.

• Contribute to inventory counts and general workspace maintenance.

• Attention to detail: You notice the crooked label before anyone else.

• Positive energy & communication: a good vibe is part of the product.

• Physical capability: This role requires the ability to repeatedly lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as an essential function of the job.

• Quick learning curve: new machinery and methods don't scare you.

• Problem-solving chops: see something, say something, fix something.

• Experience in food service, warehouse, or other hands-on roles is a plus.
