Registered Nurse Supervisor, Urgent Care

Job Overview

The RN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day "back office" operations of the clinic by overseeing the employees providing nursing care to the clinic patients, as well as implementing and assuring quality medical management and cost containment health services to patients. The Supervisor oversees the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation/improvement of clinical care services and programs, which include patient experience, patient safety, HEDIS quality measures, financial goals, and other key metrics.

The Supervisor works with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, Administrative Leadership team, and RN Manager to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction, and financial goals, ensuring all staff stay aligned with clinic objectives. The Supervisor provides leadership to the nursing team, serves as a mentor to staff, and manages performance and outcome measures, supporting strategic, business, and organizational goals.

A bachelor's degree in nursing and a minimum of one year of leadership experience are required. A master's degree in health services, business administration, or management is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing patient care in an outpatient or inpatient setting, with preferred experience in staff supervision.
• Current, valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Experience with audits and health care inspections is preferred.
• Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Chinese preferred, depending on the site.

Pay for this job starts at $ annually.
