Store Support Center
We are searching for an experienced Purchasing Assistant for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040.
SummaryA Purchasing Assistant supports the department and reports to a buyer. This is an onsite position at our Store Support Center in Commerce, CA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or required:- Prepares purchase orders as needed.
- Assists department with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely.
- Assists and/or issues purchase order follow-up to ensure on-time deliveries and correct pricing, terms and specifications.
- Updates sales log reports on a daily basis.
- Updates and inputs cost retail prices on a daily basis.
- Extensive follow-up with store directors and vendors on a daily basis.
- Provides strong data entry support/receivers.
- Responsible for meeting daily deadlines.
- Schedules/sets up vendor appointments.
- Provides general support to Buyers.
Requires an associate degree and/or 2 years’ experience in either grocery retail or scan coordinator experience.
COMPENSATIONThe salary range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications, including experience and relevant skills.
