Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Sales
General Purpose
The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. They greet customers, maintain a clean work area, and present merchandise in accordance with store standards. The Associate performs tasks across all areas of the store as required.
Essential Functions- Practice safety and maintain emergency exits.
- Greet customers, provide assistance, and respond promptly to service calls.
- Support the company brand and maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors and replenishing restroom supplies.
- Execute daily sizing and recovery, and expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor.
- Adhere to loss‑prevention practices, including the Shortage Highway and Store Protection Specialist program as applicable.
- Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card and merchandise.
- Follow Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock (MOS) procedures and cash handling policies.
- Demonstrate urgency, maximize productivity and follow all store best practices.

- Basic math skills used in a retail environment.
- Use store equipment including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking and moving.
- Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach and stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other supplies.
- Stockroom shifts require pushing, pulling and lifting more than 20 pounds.

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $16.90 - $17.40. The range is dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location.
