Patrol Solutions - Armed Security Field Sergeant Field Sergeants are a vital link to ensuring sites are running smoothly and officers are actively working while on shift.

Site check ins and employee check ins Report writing of site check ins, incidents, vehicles and more Dispatch calls and directing to proper channels

Assisting with coverage if an employee calls out or is sent home early

Supervisory experience is required, 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Pay:

Starting pay $26.00 per hour

Shifts:

MUST have weekend availability.

Shift days and times will be determined at the time of hire.

Ability to work holidays, overtime and more Bilingual English and Spanish preferred

Location:

Main reporting location in Commerce, CA 90040

Must be able to reliably commute to Commerce, CA to begin your shift.

Minimum Licensing Requirements:

Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card Must possess a current BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit Must possess a current BSIS Baton Permit Must possess a current Pepper Spray / OC Certification Must possess a current CPR / First Aid certification

MUST own your own gear, equipment & firearm.

Must posses a valid California Driver's License with 3 years of a CLEAN record

Qualifications, Skills, and

Education Requirements:

Reliable transportation to and from the site.

Previous patrol security experience

Ability to read, write and understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.

Ability to write and understand English Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.

Friendly and professional demeanor

Able to pass a drug test and background check

Security Professional Responsibilities may include:

Possess and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card)
Possess and maintain a valid California BSIS Exposed Firearms License Possess and maintain 2 less than lethal permits: BSIS Baton & Pepper Spray Possess and maintain a valid State CPR or First Aid Certification Conduct vehicle/foot patrols alone

Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.

Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.

Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.

Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.

Experience:

Security: 3 years (Required)
Armed Security: 2 years (Required)
Supervisory Security

We're looking for an employee to protect our organization’s facilities. You will be responsible for patrolling our facilities and detecting unauthorized activities. Security guard tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations.

High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
