Job Summary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Access Control for Railroad
- First Responder for Emergencies
- Maintaining connectivity across multiple sites
- Identifying threats and suspicious activity via a wide network of security technology systems
- Perform security and threat assessment audits
- Incident Management and reporting
- Cultivating positive relationships with local law enforcement
- Prepare and disseminate standardized and routine reports

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in high end security and military or law enforcement.
- Valid and current
- BSIS Guard Card
- BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit or CA CCW or HR218
- 40-hr Security Guard Training
- Power to Arrest and Terrorism Training
- Exposed Weapons Permit (if applicable)
- OC spray/Tear gas Training (if applicable)
- Honorary Military discharge (if applicable)
- CPR/First Responder training/ certs (preferred)
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
:
- Excellent English verbal, comprehension, and written skills – Bilingual is a plus.
- Access to reliable transportation with the ability to arrive to work on time.
- Ability to arrive groomed, clean, dressed and pressed in accordance with uniform standards.
- Basic computer knowledge – i.e.: typing reports, operating basic gate functionality, Word.
- Individual Client needs/ Sensitivities
- Emergency Egress and evacuation procedures
- Conflict resolution /de-escalation techniques
- Public relations awareness
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
* of the time - Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and see (using near vision, far vision, and peripheral vision) to identity and address potential threats or safety concerns
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit while remaining alert to surroundings
