Maintenance Electrician

• Perform troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean, maintain, and service production rolls to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist project managers during equipment design, installation, and upgrade activities.
• Planning, laying out, installing, and repairing complex electrical systems, including automatic and process controls, switchboards, control panels, control centers, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic control devices.
• Installing and configuring secondary distribution centers, balancing electrical loads, and wiring complex circuits with multiple connections.
• Diagnosing electrical issues; repairing or replacing defective components and control modules; testing systems and making necessary adjustments.
• Running conduit and pulling wire as required for system installations or repairs.
• Assisting with mechanical equipment repairs as needed, including production roll changes.

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Completion of at least two years of coursework in electrical or electronic technology, resulting in a certification or degree.
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in elevated or confined spaces.

Houry rate: $30-$35/hr

Schedule: Swing 2pm - 10pm OR Night 10pm - 6am
