Primary Job Functions- Responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the Casino premises and structure and in upkeep of casino equipment and machinery.
- Operates the following equipment:
Scissor lift, Pallet Jack up to five thousand pound capacity, and Fork lift. - Is able to lift a maximum of fifty pounds.
- Inspects, repairs, and maintains the following systems and equipment:
Refrigeration system, Kitchen equipment, Electrical systems, Lighting systems (changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes), HVAC equipment, and Plumbing. - Changes tires on electric carts used by the Casino.
- Completes assigned work orders and return all paperwork to Supervisor.
- Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor.

QualificationsWork Experience
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining various types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Other Requirements: Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems; ability to maintain hot water system and repairs to commercial kitchen equipment. Must have good electrical background with required certification and have completed a trade. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee’s duties.
A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
