Field Technician

Lawrence Doors, Inc. (part of Amarr / ASSA ABLOY Group) is looking for an experienced foreman who specializes in commercial and industrial door installations, service and repair for our Los Angeles Branch. Willingness to work overtime is required. Electrical and welding experience is beneficial.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience using hand and power tools.
• 3–5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs.
• Stick welding experience.
• Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers.
• Electrical experience with installing motor operators and gate operators.
• Ability to run floor loops.
• Ability to troubleshoot high speed doors.
• Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Ability to climb extension ladders.
• Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift.

Hourly pay rate of $27.00 to $35.00 (DOE) + medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K with company match. Lots of opportunity to work overtime.
