Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator to support our estimating and engineering teams with vendor communications, pricing requests, cost tracking, data entry, and project documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative, project coordination, purchasing, or engineering support experience who is looking to grow their career in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
• Request and track vendor quotes, pricing, and material availability.
• Maintain vendor databases, quote logs, and project records.
• Enter and manage cost data within company systems.
• Review drawings and specifications to support estimating activities.
• Assist with cost tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate project information.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in administration, project coordination, purchasing, estimating support, or a related role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and data-entry skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Quick Books, estimating software, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Exposure to Autodesk Inventor
  , AutoCAD, Solid Works, or other CAD software preferred.
• Ability to read basic technical or construction drawings is a plus.
