Qualified candidates must be a GO-GETTER with excellent personality, communication skills, sales skills, problem-solving skills, the ability to lead, and a strong desire to succeed. Excellent spelling, computer, data entry skills, and the ability to complete tasks effectively, efficiently, and thoroughly with little to no supervision. The Customer Service Representative is expected to prepare for management, as all representatives are potential branch managers.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in achieving sales, business promotion, profits, operational collection standards, and tax preparation. The role mainly consists of making contact with clients by phone and scheduling office visits. Candidates must also learn all tasks performed in the office and prepare to become a Branch Manager of their own location.

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in the operation of a consumer finance office.

Duties include:

• Waiting on customers, taking applications, investigating credit, taking payments, refinancing loans.
• Working past-due accounts by phone as directed by the manager.
• Sending out advertising letters and completing other duties as needed.
• Maintaining initiative and ability to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and current liability auto insurance coverage.

• Solicit loans over the telephone and at the office counter.
• Sell all products and services over the telephone and in the office.
• Answer the telephone, post customer payments, input new and refinanced loans into the loan software system, process loan applications, and prepare refinance, former borrower, and delinquency mail and text messages.
• Post payments, provide customer credit references to creditors and credit bureaus.
• Complete loan documents and close current refinance loans.
• Maintain cash drawer and prepare daily deposits of cash and checks.
• Make telephone collection calls to past‑due customers and report activities to the branch manager.
• Adjust past‑due payments for current slow customers.
• Participate in training development opportunities as directed by the Manager and District Supervisor.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Assist in achieving tax preparation objectives, prepare and file income taxes each tax season.
• Assist in maintaining standards in all areas of delinquency, loan volume, and growth goals, along with the 10th/20th standards.
• Consistently achieve company production standards.
