Cables And Kits , a national supplier of IT Network Equipment and A/V Cabling, is hiring a Sales Manager in Commerce, GA. Hybrid or Remote opportunity!
OPPORTUNITY:
As our Sales Leader, you will lead our revenue engine with strategy, execution, and team performance across inside sales, account management, and strategic accounts. Build a data-driven sales organization, sharpen our go-to-market strategy, and coach a team that wins consistently.
Cables And Kits has served nearly 300,000 companies in its nearly 25 years in business and continues to gain nearly 200 new customers every week. Build, lead and coach our sales team to effectively serve every new customer and re-engage past customers. Use your system-minded and process-driven approach to construct playbooks, visibility tools, and accountability mechanisms that ensure every customer is contacted, relationships are nurtured, and meaningful value is delivered to each interaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Sales Leadership
:
Develop an effective sales structure including processes, hiring, compensation plans, and execution strategy. - Strategy & Planning: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy delivering monthly and quarterly revenue and gross profit targets.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Review and monitor performance progress and targets with accurate forecasts and clear weekly action plans.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, coach, and performance-manage a growing team of inside sales reps and account managers while building a high-accountability culture.
- Sales Operations: Establish repeatable playbooks for prospecting, qualification, discovery, pricing, and handoffs; champion CRM usage (Hub Spot) and metric visibility.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Partner with Marketing, Product, eCommerce, and Operations to align demand gen, promotions, inventory priorities, and service standards.
- Key Accounts & Expansion: Support reps on strategic opportunities driving expansion, retention, and reactivation of lapsed customers.
- Enablement: Implement ongoing training, talk tracks, objection handling, competitive positioning, and product knowledge programs.
- Pricing & Margin
:
Maintain discipline on discounting and GP targets; collaborate on pricing strategy, bundles, and contract terms. - Reporting & Insights: Publish weekly scorecards (pipeline coverage, win rate, cycle time, AOV, GP%, retention) and action plans to close gaps.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
- 7+ years in B2B sales leadership with a track record of building and scaling inside sales/account management teams.
- Expertise in sales operations and enablement: territories, quotas, comp plans, and performance management.
- Strong command of CRM (Hub Spot preferred) and data-driven management of pipeline and forecasting.
- Industry experience in hardware distribution, IT/networking, or eCommerce-enabled B2B.
- Technical product knowledge of pre-owned Cisco Network hardware and AV/Cabling (Ethernet, Fiber, Poer, HDMI) to help our sales team recommend products that fit our customers’ hardware.
- Exceptional coaching, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

COMPENSATION:
Cables And Kits will reward your sales leadership talents with a competitive compensation package of $120k-$150k+ OTE (On Target Earnings). No travel is required, so your office-based sales leadership is maximized for best results.
