Overview

The Provider is responsible for delivering high-quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The role requires quick and accurate response to changes in patient condition, consistent delivery of outstanding service through both clinic and virtual communication channels, and maintenance of a compassionate and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient patients.
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management when appropriate, to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and accurate information.
  • Ensure activities are conducted consistently with company expectations and in compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on ongoing treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and complete e‑coding training.
  • Comply with company compliance training and conduct activities in accordance with standard NP protocols.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day and facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of clinic processes.
  • Assume duties as assigned by management.
  • Employ PRN or Full‑time shifts as scheduled (minimum 4 shifts per month for PRN, 12‑hour shifts and alternating weekends for Full‑time).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • At least 1‑2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as urgent care, occupational medicine, ER, trauma unit, or family medical practice.
  • Active license and DEA registration in good standing, verifiable with the appropriate regulatory agency.
  • Ability to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements; DOT certification required within 120 days of employment for full‑time and part‑time providers.
  • Compliance with company standards of operations and respect for a culture of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to standard NP protocols and company core values (teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, friendliness).
