Job Description
As the full‑time Associate Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's “go‑to” for developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high‑performing sellers who deliver an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team achieves sales goals, upholds merchandising and brand standards, and delivers operational excellence while representing our company values and bringing their real selves to work every day.
Responsibilities- You have a passion for driving sales: as a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Sales floor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and support short‑ and long‑term business plans to drive key KPIs.
- You’re a people leader: you motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, model leadership, and hold the team accountable for customer service standards on the Sales floor and in the Fitting Room.
- You have an eye for talent and love training: you recruit and hire strong talent, ensuring the store is staffed to meet business needs, and develop the team to deliver outstanding service.
- You know teamwork makes the dream work: you provide ongoing performance feedback through real‑time coaching, development plans, and performance reviews, and drive associate engagement by celebrating the team’s outstanding performance.
- You’re an operational innovator: you execute and innovate daily procedures, maintain visual standards in every zone, and keep the Fitting Rooms ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity is your middle name: you maintain safety and asset‑protection standards, adhere to AEO’s policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
- You love AE and Aerie products.
- You have led teams in a retail management role.
- You can multi‑task, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and manage time effectively.
- You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law.
- You have strong business acumen.
- You have flexible availability and can work when guests shop.

- Actual starting pay is determined by experience and location.
