Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Commerce, GA location. Candidates may hold a CDL Class A or CDL Class B license with an Air Brake Endorsement. Flatbed with Moffett experience is desired. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!
ResponsibilitiesOur delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request. They also receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
Qualifications- CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
- 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
- Moffett and Flatbed operating experience desired
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Heavy lifting experience
- Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
- Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one- and two-story homes
- Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries in compliance with securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations
- Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated area
- 20 paid days off (includes PTO, holidays, and family-focused company closure between Christmas and New Years)
