About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, authentic, and motivated educator to support students in mastering English and improving academic outcomes.
Pay & BenefitsPay Range: $2,807.70 – $4,038.47 Bi-Weekly – Depending on experience.

- Identify and instruct English Learners and Standard English learners with English Language Development support in reading, writing, speaking, and listening using various teaching methods, audiovisual aids, and other materials.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-75 targeted students and provide weekly interventions and instructions.
- Assess and report each student’s academic progress to the regional leadership team, track EL enrollment and student progress monthly, and create action plans based on center needs.
- Develop individualized academic plans for each EL student within the center.
- Prepare an outline for the course of study, following curriculum guidelines or state and school requirements, and administer ELPAC tests to evaluate pupil progress and record results.
- Provide pull‑out and additional support to Long Term English Learners (LTELs) in AR and SGI classes.
- Facilitate professional learning communities to support AR teachers by delivering theory‑based pedagogy and interventions for English Language Learners.
- Conduct initial ELPAC assessment within 30 days of enrollment to create Individualized Learning Plans that move students efficiently to English proficiency and monitor ongoing ELPAC testing progress.
- Experience working with second language learners and in second language acquisition.
- Valid California clear or preliminary teaching credential required.
- English Learner Authorization (ELA1 or similar) required.
